How to care for your rug:
Rugs are made for use. So the first thing you should do is use and enjoy your rug.
Regular vacuuming is a good way to keep fine dust and sand out the rug pile and to help it last longer. We recommend a beater brush for the pile
and only suction for the fringes. Do not vacuum the fringes with a beater brush.
Direct sun light can fade your rug. We recommend special window film or window treatments that block the suns harmful rays. It is a recommended
to turn your rug to even out any fading and to help reduce major traffic patterns and wear.
Rugs should be professionally cleaned every 3 to 6 years depending on the amount of use they get. PEYKAR provides a cleaning service. Please

Many rugs have hard twisted yarn used in their pile. There can be sprouting in these rugs. Sprouting is when strands of yarn unravel and stand up
out of the pile. This can be resolved by snipping the longer yarn at the pile surface with scissors.
Hooked rugs have a continuous yarn construction. Pulls should be pushed down with the tip of scissors before they spread.
