Carol designs window treatments that are the focal point of her rooms. Among the contracts which Carol has undertaken are designs for both residential and business interiors in Manhattan. She created the window treatments and display areas for an upscale English jewelry and luxury items store on Madison Avenue. Her work on a residence in Battery Park included a bathroom and media systems. Carol has also selected the furniture, artworks and carpeting for the conference rooms and a reception area on a floor of the Citicorp Building.
A member of ASID for 8 years, Carol Hannam continues to remain in the foreground of current decorating trends through her participation in courses and seminars. She has concentrated on the area of color forecasting and custom window treatments. During her career Carol designed rooms for four decorator Showhouses. Her work has been featured numerous times in publications in this country, and she has also received international exposure in India.
